Together with Tukan förlag, Tukan läromedel and Forlaget Tukan, Bokförlaget Nona forms the Tukan publishing group, now Sweden’s third-largest general trade publisher.
Since 2026, the Tukan publishing group has been majority-owned by Gyldendal, Denmark’s largest publishing house, which holds an 80% stake in the group.
In Roman mythology, Nona is the goddess who spins the thread of life – a fitting name for a publishing house whose common thread is a passion for compelling stories, fascinating people, and captivating lives.
